Christine Adiaz is a seasoned music director, vocalist, and liturgical musician whose career spans more than three decades. She served as Choir Conductor for 25 years under Sr. Nona Barairo, SFCC, and has been a Cantor, Accompanist, and Liturgical Service Musician at St. Augustine Church for 30 years. Her early performance background includes five years with the San Francisco City Summer Opera (1990–1995), laying the foundation for her lifelong dedication to vocal excellence.
Christine studied Vocal Performance at the California Jazz Conservatory and received advanced training from renowned Bay Area master vocal coach Raz Kennedy, as well as Atek Jacinto, Director of the Philippine Music Resource. Her vocal talent has earned her multiple first‑place awards, including Bagong Tuklas (a Filipino TV singing competition in Los Angeles), the Pinnacle Fantasy Talent Competition in San Francisco, and the Nickelodeon Singing Competition (San Francisco edition).
In October 2025, Christine was honored as one of the **100 Most Influential Filipinos in the World**, a prestigious recognition that celebrated her impact on music, culture, and community. The St. Augustine Children’s Choir performed at the event, marking a proud moment for both Christine and the young singers she mentors.
Beyond her work in ministry and education, Christine is an active performer—serving as an event host and solo artist for private events, and singing as one of the lead vocalists of the SF+Bay International Music AllStars. Her live‑streamed performances can be found on Facebook, YouTube, and KUMU.
Christine’s greatest joy remains sharing music with her community—especially through her work with the St. Augustine Children’s Choir, her decades of service in the church, and her performances beyond the parish. She continues to honor her calling through music, including unforgettable opportunities to sing in Milan, Venice, Rome, and at the Vatican.
